Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as composer/music director and text coach. Though she typically led within her acting ensemble, in her last year of work with SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
